The Kyoto Sliding Panel system creates a contemporary solution for large windows and patio doors. It is also a perfect way of forming distinct lifestyle zones within open-plan areas, for example dividing a study from a living space or a dressing room from a bedroom. The width of each panel is roughly 65cm (2ft 2in) (exact size will be confirmed to you at the time or ordering) and they slide back behind each other when opening. Each panel picks up the next when closing. The system can stack to the left or the right as a pair. In each case the leading edge is pulled by a draw rod. The top channel is in white aluminium. The top of the fabric has velcro sewn along it and presses onto special Velcro carriers in the channel. There is a metal weight in the bottom pocket so that they hang beautifully. The panels are very easy to take off for dry cleaning, where appropriate.
Our standard system 'Kyoto' is available in a wide range of different fabrics, to suit any style or requirement. As an alternative choose our 'Fuji' system, which features wooden slats in the colour of your choice to add a designer feel. Ideally they should be fixed to the ceiling but we can supply wall fix brackets (extra cost).
